Unexpected Changes

A few days ago, my husband and I were moving something and in the process something dropped on my head and gave me a concussion. As you can imagine it has given me a lot of headaches. The headaches have affected being able to do some of the things that I normally do. I have had to take things a little easier and rethink some things. The headaches are getting better, but still there.

At times things happen to all of us that slow us down. We have plans and agendas of things we want to accomplish but then it all changes. What happens to change it is not what is important, what we do about it is. Sometimes that time of “regrouping” and/or just taking a rest to let your body refresh, will do more than all the things we would normally take care of. Part of that will depend on if we use the time to draw closer to our Heavenly Father. After all, the change of plans is not a surprise to Him. I am not saying He caused it, but that He knew what was happening and has a plan for your life. We just need to trust Him.
