Life has many challenges and uncertainties. None of us are perfect. We all have sinned. There is no way for us to pay the penalty for our sin. We all face the fact that we will eventually die. What happens to us after we die? So what do we do? Where will we go? That depends on what we do while we are still alive. There are many philosophies and religions who claim to have the way. How does one know what is right? The Bible has the only way to eternal life in heaven. It is God’s plan of salvation that we need to follow. But what is that?
The Bible says there is only one way to Heaven
Jesus said: – John 14:6 (NIV) “…I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Good works cannot save you
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV) “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Trust Jesus Christ today!
Here’s what you must do:
1. We have all separated ourselves from God:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
2. Our sin condemns us…
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
3. But He still loves us…
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
4. So He has made a way for us to know Him!
“God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
5. All we have to do is believe…
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
6. And receive His gift
“All are justified freely by His grace through redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:24
If you have never prayed and asked Jesus to come into your heart, or you know you have drifted away from God, know that you are not reading this by accident. Today is the day of your salvation. It’s simple to do, read this prayer aloud:
“Dear Heavenly Father. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. That all my good works are not enough to get me to heaven, I need Jesus. I thank you Lord for going to the cross and dying for me, saving me from a devil’s hell so that I may be forgiven and live eternally with you. I ask your forgivness for my sins and I ask you now to come into my heart and cleanse me of my sin. Be Lord of my life and empower me to make right choices for you all the days of my life. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen”
